i thought the reading about liking (cialdini chapter 5) was very informative. basically, the whole point of the reading was the people will prefer to say yes to persons they know and like. it then lists down the reasons for liking such as physical attractiveness, similarity, compliments, contact and cooperation.

in the case of physical attractiveness, cialdini says that attractive people are more persuasive both in terms of getting what they request and in changing others' attitude. i certainly agree with this. the one question that i have is that in general, do people become more attractive the more skin they show? do people become more attractive with less clothing?
